2008 School Recycling Workshop Series

globeThe Virginia Recycling Association hosted the first in a series of free school recycling workshops on March 10, 2008, in Richmond at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. This was a great opportunity for recycling educators, solid waste managers, school personnel, private schools, colleges and universities and parents to discuss the advantages of school recycling programs and get the technical training on how to start recycling in schools. Visit the meeting page to see the agenda and presentations. Two more workshops are planned for July 17th in Washington, D.C. and August 1st in Abingdon. For more information and to register for one of these events, visit the workshop page.
