Conferences and Meetings
VRA hosts conferences and meetings to provide forums for discussing issues, learning from experts, earning professional credits, and sharing ideas affecting recycling in Virginia.


Education & Training
VRA offers opportunities for both formal and informal education. Experience recycling first hand by touring regional recycling facilities, networking with colleagues and attending training to expand your knowledge and earn certification credentials.
Lunch and Learn Events
These quarterly events offer members a behind the scenes look at regional resource management facilities. This is a great opportunity to really see how recycling works and meet the people that keep our industry going.

VRA Awards
The VRA honors top recyclers and recycling programs throughout Virginia at our Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Ceremony each Fall.
Nominations are sought from the public and private sector, business, industry, school, government, and non-profit agencies, civic or volunteer organizations and individuals. It is not necessary to be a VRA member to make a nomination or to receive an award but the nominated person or program must be Virginia based.
Winners also receive a complimentary one year VRA membership.
